		<description>if you haven&#039;t  done the following yet, then  try to:  go to explorer --&gt; computer property and check out the performance index for your machine. It should give you performance index for memory, cpu etc.  Click on it, and it should give you information about the basics to improve performance by shutting down programs not needed etc. ( I think it&#039;s called windows guard). There are lots of extra features that could be turned off to save resource. Also, you could change the look and feel back to classic across the system, which will give you the familiar XP look if you feel more used to it. If you are running heavy loads, make sure you check the virtual memory setup.</description>

		<description>Don&#039;t  try to downgrade from Vista to XP. With the effort you put in to uninstall and reinstall everything, you could be an expert in Vista already. What exactly is the performance issue you are experiencing? Do you have the service pack installed?</description>
