Cameras Record Their Own Theft

If you’re like me you always doubt the truth of those funny “dumb criminal” stories, this one is no different, but I can assure you it is true.  “Allegedly” this guy stole some active surveillance cameras without any thought of concealing his identity.  He removed them from the wall they were attached to from a straight on camera angle without wearing a mask or disguise of any kind.  The cameras were able to capture excellent images of his face.  Upon publishing photos the police received numerous tips.  After the suspect became aware that the police were on the lookout for a white Mitsubishi pick-up truck, he stole another vehicle and replaced the license plates with those from his truck.
