Although plastic bottle caps are recyclable, they are made of a different type of plastic than their counterpart plastic bottles, thus they require a different recycling process.  So recyclers DO NOT even bother to recycle any bottles with caps.  So please get in the habit of removing the caps before you drop the bottle in the recycle bin.  Please help spread this valuable information.  Print out this post or something like the message below and place it near as many recycle bins as you can.
