Green Idea: Convert Pressure to Electricity
Posted on May 9th, 2009 by ragin'Geek
I was wondering if there is a way to convert the pressure at the bottom of the ocean into electricity. If it could be done, it would obviously be a unlimited source. Anyone have any thoughts?

Pressure is not energy. Movement is. Ocean waves could be used to generate electricity, which is pretty much like harnessing wind energy or even gravity forces between earth and other stars?
I know, but there are small devices that convert changes in pressure to electricity. Maybe the concept can be developed on a larger scale. Anyway, I’m just trying to think outside the box, maybe it will spark an idea in someone that has the right knowledge.
